The atelier

We make flowers that hold a room — weddings, installations and commissions, each composed in a palette drawn from the space it will live in.

Founded by florist Inès Carrow, Virelle is a small studio in south-east London with a cutting garden in Somerset. We take on a limited number of projects each season so every one is designed, made and installed by the same hands.

Services

Four ways we work

From a single bouquet to a twelve-metre installation, every project is designed and made in our studio.

I

Wedding flowers

Bouquets, ceremony pieces and receptions designed as one composition.

II

Event installations

Suspended clouds, ceremony rings and large-scale sculptural pieces.

III

Bespoke commissions

Single statement pieces for homes, shoots and private occasions.

IV

Corporate & brand events

Launches, dinners, windows and campaigns in your brand’s palette.

Philosophy

Seasonal, sculptural and never wasteful.

Good floristry starts in the garden and ends in the compost. In between, we try to make something people will remember for years.

01

Composed, not decorated

Every piece starts with form and colour, so a room feels designed rather than filled.

02

Grown close to home

Most of our flowers come from our Somerset plot and British growers within a day’s drive.

03

Nothing to landfill

No floral foam, reusable mechanics, and every stem composted or rehomed after the event.

“A room should feel different the moment the flowers arrive.”

“The room stopped everyone in their tracks. It felt like walking into a painting, and the flowers looked just as beautiful at midnight as they did at four o’clock.”

“Inès listened to a very loose brief and turned it into something we would never have imagined. Calm, precise and generous with her ideas.”

“The installation became the centrepiece of our launch and the image everyone shared. Seamless from the first call to the overnight install.”
